Calistoga Wedding Venues: A Planner's Honest Guide

Calistoga sits at the top of Napa Valley where the valley narrows and the light turns gold early. It is hotter than Yountville in August and quieter year round, which makes it one of our favourite places to build a wedding weekend.
Below are the venues we return to, with the practical notes couples actually need: guest counts, sound curfews and what production costs look like.
Ranch and raw-land venues
Triple S Ranch is the reference point: a working ranch with barn, pool and hillside ceremony sites, and a look that photographs as warmly at noon as at dusk. Plan on full rentals and a real production budget.
Smaller private ranches around Petrified Forest Road can host 80 to 140 guests beautifully, but almost all require tenting, generators and restroom trailers.
Resorts and hot springs
Calistoga Ranch and Solage suit couples who want guests housed onsite with spa mornings and no shuttles. Costs are higher, logistics are dramatically simpler, and a two-night minimum is common on weekends.
Curfews and sound
Most Calistoga properties end amplified sound between 9 and 10pm. We solve this with an earlier ceremony, a shorter cocktail hour and an after-party moved indoors or offsite.

- Most of our Calistoga weddings land between $125,000 and $300,000 all in for 100 to 140 guests. Raw-land venues sit at the higher end once tenting, power and restrooms are included.
- Is Calistoga too hot for a summer wedding?
- July and August afternoons reach the mid-90s. It is very manageable with shade at cocktail hour, water stations, fans and a ceremony after 5pm.
